Seems like every blog bio I read starts off, “I got a cam­era when I was 5 and have been tak­ing pic­tures every since.”  That’s not me.  I got my cam­era in the spring of 2008 to join my wife in this adven­ture.  As usual, though, I threw myself into it with all the aban­don my addic­tive per­son­al­ity dic­tates.  I’ve tried books, sem­i­nars, work­shops, online courses, sub­scrip­tion web sites, free web sites, and a cam­era club.

In my day job, I have learned that every process can be improved.  I believe each of these has added to my skill but every skill can be improved and I have a long way to go.  This site will let my wife and I share what we learn, what works and what doesn’t, where we go and what we find there.  So on with the adventure.
